Japan beat the United States in a classic World Baseball Classic Final 3-2. The game ended with Shoe Heo-Tani, the starting pitcher and middle of the order hitter for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim as the closer for the Japanese team. Mike Trout took an at bat that I won't soon forget that ended with a wipe-out slider that Trout swung through, strike three, game over.
