Leopold and Lobe's Perfect Crime
Nietzsche says that this is how people are going to start thinking. Leopold and Lobe decided it was time to try murder. They chose a younger teenager as their victim Bobby Franks, the 14 year old son of a wealthy watch manufacturer who had also grown up in their neighborhood in Chicago. The three of them drove 25 miles away to a dumping spot near a lake in Indiana. Then they poured hydrochloric acid on his face and genitals. So far so good from a perfect crime standpoint. Would they fall apart?
