The Importance of Being Laser Focused
For me, it's never been about rules of engagement. It can be any weight division. So I make myself comfortable with giving me an edge against my opponents because they don't prepare themselves spiritually to deal with this kind of discomfort. For me, it was a comfortable living in hell. And for others, they have to respect other things. They think more like I sport or for me was much bigger than sport and represent my Jiu Jitsu. Those are big motivations for me to rise above any stressful situation. But quitting was not an option for me in terms of, I mean, I prefer to die.
