Are We in a Paradigm Shift?

In 2019, when I started listening, a lot of the financial conversations were around financialization and plumbing in the financial system. And now the question seems to have shifted to more real economy topics. Geopolitics, oil, issues around inflation, supply chains. So my question is, are we in a true paradigm shift where, for the next decade or so, we can expect the questions to stay focused on the real economy as opposed to financialization?
