You don't need a down payment, necessarily, to buy a house. It's not a good habit to start rating your retirement accounts just because you need them to grow. You'll in general, do a lot better if you just let em said,. i like the idea of having a down payment... but if there's a better use for your money, you nont paying down a six % student loan.
