The Importance of a Rolling C Board for Expressive Control
Rolling C boards resemble any string instrument, guitar, bass, violin, cello, etc. You can tune them like guitar, you can tune them in all fours,. But the reason I chose that method was to overcome a major flaw in the layout of the piano note keyboard for expressive control. It's very difficult to generate skills at the type of bends and pitch slides that someone would do on violin or guitar.
