The US maintains that the beneficial owner on paper of Amadea is this man Edward Kudinataf who at the time was not sanctioned and therefore was a safer straw owner. Now it would appear that after Mr. Kudimov was sanctioned in 2018 it would be very difficult for him to buy and operate and maintain a super yacht. And he has remained remarkably silent on this matter.
