Is There Truth in Myth?

Tolkien sees us as created and he sees that, you know, in the end of things, we're not just a bunch of molecules are going to be disintegrated at the end of the day. I love this idea of man as sub-creator being eventually in the position to eternally be another maker, to sub-create imperfection. The myth, the stories that we create then will be entirely true instead of just having glimpses of truth or glimmers of truth. So imagine Tolkien being able to be a creator in that context and being able to create something where all that he says is truth. That's amazing, amazing piece. A little heady, a little challenging.
