There is a camaraderie and love between the two of them that does not seem to exist between any other two characters in the entire story. What if you could live on your own terms is like a big thing of like what the big American novels are all about, right? Yeah. The American novel part of it was reminded of Gatsby and just like these novels that we think of or like that are about the American dream.
