The Ted Lindsey Award Winner
The Ted Lindsey Award is given annually to the most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL Players Association. In 1995, the Lester B Pearson Award was renamed the Ted Lindsey Award for his role in creating the original NHLPA. The first player to live the Stanley Cup over his head and skated around the arena, starting the tradition that still goes on today.
