DevOps and Team Topology

Daniel: We started this conversation a while back with DevOps. But in the process, we took cognitive load on our teams. It got really, really high burnouts and issue, right? Trying to keep your mental model together of all the things that a team has to deal with today from Kubernetes to Istio to the side cars to your ingress. And then you got to write code, right? So the idea with platform teams is how do you start to reduce that cognitive load? How do you reduce the friction so you're to use team topology vocabulary? Your streamline teams can deliver on the features, the business capabilities that they need to do.
