There is very consistent data that, at a population level, people with higher b m is have worse health outcomes. The thing that i got stuck on this is like kind of a perfect seguay, why the fuck was this the thing? Yes, i get that we're biased against fat people. But like, why did this in particular become not just a national, but an international health policy priority? And i found an answer that makes me feel like i need to wear a tinfoil hat smoking gun. I want it so bad.
