The Importance of Wandering Away From God
In the confessions, Augustine talks about his own wandering away from God. The word "wandering" is used in a theological way to describe this alienated person. He tells us that there's something wrong with the will and we don't naturally incline to the good. In book one, many of us have read it, you know, you have the scene with Augustine as an infant.
