I think it's more so about the consent. It's one thing to see strangers topless, but standing there topless in front of a group of friends who are not is kind of weird. I do believe people from the US are culturally more prude when it comes to women's bodies. They've figured it out in a lot of places and they're just progressive. That's an absolute.
