My dad was just better at story telling and live breaking coverage than anybody. He knew every code on the fire or police scanner by heart. So he'd listened to the police scanners, and he could tell you what was happening in real time. And because they had a helicopter, they were really good at developing sources within official capacities. I so peachus had an inside scoop on a lot of stuff.
