Being an Author Is Lonely

Being an author means that you are going to some variation of crazy, take an axe to a door and try to kill your wife. No one has ever written a story about a romance author who is a tortured artist living alone. You know, if you read exciting, fun, genra fiction, then the movies and the t v shows you make about authors are exciting in fun and genra. Whereas if all you read is literary, capital l fiction, then, yes, you're going to make sad, tortured things.
