The Liberal Perspective on God
The modern liberal though says, Maitian basically affirms that Jesus is God. Not because they think high of Jesus, but because they think desperately low of God,. I think there's a lot of things going on there from kind of liberal perspective. There's this allergy to thinking about a God who will judge, a God who is king. And what Christianity does is hold all of them together in a beautiful harmony.
