As of last month, there were over 200 ebooks on Amazon's Kindle store listing chat GPT as an author or a co-author. One person recently used AI to write and illustrate a children's book. He ended up self-publishing it and he sold more than 800 copies on Amazon. Artists argue that AI image generators are learning from human art by stealing it without permission or compensation.
