Amazon's Advertising Game Has Come of Age

The company earned nine point seven billion dollars in advertising revenues in the fourth quarter of 20 21. That is a 32 % year on your gain. For the whole of last year, amazon made some 31 billion dollars in add revenues. This is bigger than the add revenues of utube. It is even bigger for amazon's high standards. So big, in fact, that until now, seemingly unassuming source of revenue was tucked inside the other segment in its financial statements. Well, no more. Amazon is more than happy to let the world know its advertising game has truly come of age. In some ways, this was long overdue, perhaps.
