Harry Phipps and the Beaumont Children's Abduction
Harry Phipps had been deceased for two years by the time Angela Beaumont implicated him in her children's disappearance. Researchers Stuart Mullins and Bill Hayes were able to speak with his son Hayden, who claimed he was a predatory pedophile and abusive alcoholic. In 2008, Harry Phipps' widow told investigators she threw away an antique purse that Jane Beaumont left home with on January 26, 1966. When asked why she would throw out such a valuable piece of jewellery, Widow said she bought it from an off-shop weeks earlier. She also threatened Mullins with legal action if he returned to retrieve the purse.
