How to Make Basmati Rice So Good
There's lots of different ways to cook rice, but I think the secret is treating it carefully. You don't want to break it up when you're cooking it so be gentle in fluffing it up. And lots of butter in the end has always helped. Sadly, I sometimes put mayonnaise on the side, but that's just my problem. But really, there is no alternative to cooking this dish with mashed potato - Rice is best and you don't need anything else.
