Eric Bloodaxe, a deposed Norse king turned pirate, sets his sights on conquering the kingdom of Yorvick. With the support of the lords of Yorvick and Archbishop Wolfstand, Eric and his army land in Northumbria, causing discomfort to King Eddrid.
