The Rise of Korean Culture

The rise of Korean culture is related somewhat to the mass acceptance of Japanese culture. Koreans often point to this internal soulful quality they have that comes from over a century of persecution. And we've been put upon for decades by all kinds of larger oppressors, you know, wedged here between China and Japan as we are. We've just kind of had to sit there and see. This is something you see in our art.
