The Perpendicularity of Rock in Stormlight 5

I think that this perhaps is an indication that something happens in Stormlight Archive 5. We have the big battle of champions happening so maybe that or something related to that some type of cataclysm, an event forces some portion of Rasharans into Shadesmar as refugees and perhaps a large number of these refugees are horn eaters,. Maybe it's just the horn eaters like maybe they are forced off of the peaks for some reason. They like jump in their sharn pool that we know is up there and end up in Shadesmar as Refugees lost.
