In holy ood, elio cazan was one of the people who named the names for being communists in hollywood. The reviews at the time when the movie came out were saying he made that movie to make being a rat respectable. You got the individual as oppost a collective is really what it's all about. And then you got being a rat can be ok, depending on who you're riding out. But i think that's such an important distinction to make - there is worker solidarity or human solidarity but shown explicitly outside of a union framework.
