Bill Phillips - A New Zealander's Life Story
New Zealand was the first country in the world to bring in universal suffrage. It also developed an extremely sophisticated voting system they still use. Bill Phillips built a radio that fitted inside a coffee cup and used that to give the prisoners information about the war rather than the propaganda from the Japanese.
