The police can't just come into my house and start rummaging around in my stuff. Why? Because the Fourth Amendment says they can't. They have to have probable cause. So that's why sometimes when we get search warrants, let's now go back down to Mar-a-Lago, even though it's hot and it's bug infested. Let's talk about why there might be eight search warrants. But when they searched Mar-A-Lago, the warrant might have authorized them to seize any number of laptops and computers and cell phones and safes.
