In 2018 an Indianapolis father called the police several times to complain that his wife was forcing their two year old to drink bleach as an autism cure. Jose Serrano 29, he was separated from his wife at the time told NBC News that she had been secretly dosing their daughter in the bathroom to hide it from him and the rest of her family who all disapproved.
