The Importance of Hope in Life
Oliver: I think there are different meanings of the word hope and I wouldn't want to be supporting the idea that all of them are bad. To build your life around hope in many contexts is to place your power outside of yourself, he says. The Bible's interesting book because like you said it's intention that you don't put your focus on tomorrow you live in the present so therefore you don't worry but Jesus says but you lay up treasures in heaven not on earth. Oliver talks about how we have this disconnect when we're free time but our friends don't has more to investigate than we do.
