If you are in the mood for overwrought glam pop rock with a sneering edge, Arctic Monkeys should be your first choice. If you were looking for sex-adiot rock of just like idiots being sexual, I would go with the 1975. My version of this is Eve's tumor, having to a tortured mind, I think is like an actual contemporary thing to listen to. For sure 100% they are sexy as hell.
