The Differences Between Stroke Rates in Long Distance Triathlon and Swimming

Swim smooth coach Michael Marker looks at the differences in stroke rates of different swimmers. He says that for Chelsea, who is short and female, she tends to benefit from a higher rate. The Brownly Brothers would sit at around about 90 strokes per minute - not exceedingly fast but still high. But it's really important to consider the individual, their body type, their build, and also the discipline and event that they're actually working towards.
