What's the Selling Point of Rust?

Roxanne Jones: I've always wondered about Rust for a use case where performance is not absolutely critical. So what was the motivation? Like, I mean, you knew Rust, but I'm assuming you knew other languages. You probably like could have also written reached for like Node.js or, you know, maybe even Rails. What's the selling point of Rust as a backend technology for your use case?Jones: One of the things that was a big benefit of Rust in particular was just the high level of quality of the service. It basically just works and the product was super stable over time.
