Around 10,000 men, women and children are said to have perished during 16 weeks of the Queen's hunt. The expedition then devolved into disaster as it went on because it departed with very little planning. Despite all of her varying atrocities that she may or may not have committed during this time, the country that she ruled did manage to thrive.
