If we tell ourselves a story that you're not good at something, that story itself may or may not be true of your current self, but you can make it true of your future self. We do have these plastic brains and if we want to change them, we have to decide to do that,. That requires some faith in our capacity to do so. The pandemic is a really salient and shared experience, though it didn't look the same in every person.
