The Importance of Local Heroes
I'm all obsessed with Japanese quality. There's pride in creation versus pride in P&L. My children's charity is called Go Campaign. We identify local heroes and communities that are creating local solutions to change the lives of kids within their community. They were not like the big NGO that comes in and digs a water well when you never asked for a water well. So they hit GoPros in an acacia tree and they finally busted. It was the women of the village.
