The Classical Approach Regarding Foundationalism

There's a couple of different ways that you can actually flesh out foundationalism. The idea is that very few beliefs basically are going to be able to be such the beliefs that they could rightly be called basic. A lot of classical foundationalism is pretty much out of fashion in part because it's perceived as being self-defeating. And so many arguments have been proposed for this thesis, but I don't know really any good ones.
