The Word of Grace: How to Follow Jesus

When I was in student ministry right after being ordained in the Presbyterian Church, I was doing student ministry in Polk County. The son of a pastor had shamed his entire family and rebelled against his parents publicly. He said if you see my son tell him I want to go fishing. If you see the word of grace that Jesus says and send my disciples to Galilee Jesus doesn't work the way you and I work. It's not if you repent I might forgive you but it's I love you and I forgive you and I make it possible for you to repent.
