Is the World Getting Better Coordinated?
The tools Elon needs to thrive on Mars are things like close to ecological systems that can produce food under very harsh circumstances. In many ways, in many ways, we don't need to go to Mars except for exploration and spreading the risk and the angle. We might still say, yeah, but the UN is not doing great... Yeah, but it's doing so much better than not having a UN. And in the future, we might build UN plus, and UN plus plus, and whatever. But one of the coolest things about being an intelligent creature is that we get to cheat the laws of probability.
