What Is Resentment?
Martha Martha's problem in the story was, presentment fundamentally, is it that she is wanting to be sitting down listening or wanting others to be working. What she said was something like, Lord, can you talk to Mary and tell her that I've got all this work to do and instead of sitting there she should be out here helping me. And at that point that he said Mary has chosen the better part. You are, you are. But you know, I don't think he was Disseting her at all when he says Martha Martha, I think that's done with the great love and affection.
