Hydrophilic Crystals

When something is hydroscopic, it means that it readily takes up and retains moisture. So these crystals are solid, but in humid conditions, like say in a warm cloud over the UAE, they will absorb water,. Eventually melt and turn into tiny liquid droplets that then grow and fall to the ground. We make the hygroscopic particles with a hydrophilic surface. And just those who aren't familiar with the term hydrophilic means it sticks to water, right? Yes, they attract water. So they're friendly with water.
