The Four JANAS Are a Subset of the Eleventh Intuition Knowledge
The four JANAS are a subset of the eleven, culled from the original eleven. It shouldn't surprise us that the eleventh insight knowledge, which is called knowledge of equanimity, directly corresponds to the fourth JANAS. Often when yogis get in this stage, they feel like they're backsliding. You don't need to go back to where you were developmentally earlier than where you are now.
