Is It a Cycle, or a Spirale?

The old internet turns into a well and becomes, you know, the sort of horrendous merger of corporate and governmental and religious power. And on its outskirts, basically, new bands of,. you know, sea beggars arise and patrol a new frontier. That would be the expected result. I can't tell you where that frontier might be. But I'm sure it's out there. The thing about people of a higher class is that whether you like it or not, they're just classier. It was never class enough for me.
