The Double Edged Sword of Gaslighting

I think it's fair game to call that gaslighting, because you are undermining a person's perception and sense of reality. But I also wonder whether it's a double-edged sword, because then it leaves us open to all of these very complicated adjudications of whose reality is right. So I still want to hold on to a distinction between those more general forms of interpersonal conflict and what we might call gaslighting.
