When you first came in, what was the challenge given the environment? I had to address challenges head on from day one. We started focusing on connecting with our customers and meeting them where they were by looking at the products they were buying. And as a result, we prioritize the human over any transaction. So i actually really did have ampathy for the group. You know, me being another straw on the camel's back there, i did not want to be the one that broke it.
Crate & Barrel CEO Janet Hayes has been on a mission to modernize the home decor company since she took over as CEO in August, 2020. When she first joined the company, stores were closed and the future of retail was uncertain as Covid-19 put in-person experiences to a screeching halt.
