The Dependency Ratio in the United States
The fertility rate in the States, which is really a driver of how quickly society's age is notably higher than China. The overall population of the States will continue to increase out to 2050. Now that's partly somewhat higher fertility, but it's also a big function of migration. If you look at around the world and then you look at East Asia and China included, I think a big distinguishing thing of the demographic dynamics is that countries like US, Australia, Canada and others get a significant ongoing boost to their population from migration.
