Acting and the Language Barrier

My stepdad who I grew up with in those years was the headmaster of the school. So I really was pretty screwed because no one would ever hang out with me. The language barrier, I wasn't like a very confident kid. And so that's probably what I refer to is more that I didn't have to figure out what the right thing to say was. I could just follow a script.
