Microsoft's Competence in the Chip Space
I don't think anyone who's been following tech for the last 25 years thinks that Microsoft has any real core competency when it comes to doing that, right? The Apple M1 chips have just been a real sea change. That really has hurt Intel and displaced them in that ecosystem. So it may still remain very far out and you're right. Maybe no one thinks that Microsoft is going to be able to create something that can really genuinely compete with what Nvidia spends its entire lifetime on. But it's not one to be overlooked.
