I'll Hold My Act in French, and Then I Will Go Home and Write
I decided to go with the French shows since there were more venues, there were more, like better gigs. The thing that sucks about show business in Canada is they treat Canadian performers like garbage. So I was like, I'll hold my act in French. And then in a couple of years, I'll move to New York or LA or whatever. Then just ended up meeting a French girl and staying here. But one of the things that I've always admired about the Quebec system, there's a Quebec Star system. Oh, yeah. It's its own business and it has its own lifeblood.
