Jeffress: The book is meant to be put into practice, whether that means you just engage in the contemplations on the virtues and good and evil. If you're not doing something practical with it, I don't want to say don't buy the book as you should absolutely buy the book and you should buy it new. He says he's got a theorist a book of hours coming out from from Avalonia again, the sort of a kind of spiritual sequel.
