Each each family, tribea nation, has different traditions thatit it inherits. And over generations, those trad s run into a bumps and problems and area repaired by internal deliberation among the people who are loyal to the tradition. The history of common law looks quite a bit like the history of science. It does go through long periods of orthodoxy where everybody thinks that things are basically got it right.
